Job Description:

We’re on the lookout for a Freelance Project Manager/Producer—a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for creative production, advertising, and cross-team collaboration. This is a freelance role for a one and a half year duration. The position is hybrid, with in-office work Monday through Thursday in our client’s New York City office. While we’re prioritizing New York–based candidates, we’re open to California-based talent who can reliably work Eastern Time hours.

Please note that this role has a targeted start time during Q2 2026.

Your Background & Expertise:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a media or entertainment company as a Project Manager, Producer, or in a related coordination role
  • Strong communicator who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
  • Interest in entertainment, digital media, and advertising, with an eagerness to learn and grow

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support the ad sales group by helping coordinate the creation of creative assets for advertisers
  • Maintain and manage production-level project workflows in Asana (primary tool)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to help scope, assign, and track sponsorship and advertising-related projects
  • Act as a liaison between creative and ad sales teams, ensuring clarity on specs, assets, and timelines
  • Assist with scheduling and confirming deliverables, reviewing incoming briefs, and keeping projects on track
  • Support projects from initial scoping through final delivery, following up with designers and sharing comps with partners

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Producer, or project coordinator within entertainment, digital media, or a related environment
  • Hands-on experience with Asana (most of the work will be managed here)
  • Understanding of the creative production process and common creative file types
  • Familiarity with advertising or ad sales workflows is a plus (agency or in-house)
  • Experience with Airtable is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly
  • Ability to work from the NYC office is a plus
