Marketing Coordinators support marketing managers and executives and coordinate across marketing campaigns. Their duties may include reporting, producing marketing proposals, strategies and managing budgets. They take the products of a company and market them through marketing and advertising campaigns. Marketing Coordinators will track the data of sales and maintain any promotional materials inventory and databases and prepare reports to share data with teams. They are also the ones who analyze sales forecasts and create their campaigns based on their findings.

Requirements for Marketing Coordinator are:

  • Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Experience with research using data analytics software
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Working knowledge of HTML and design and email software
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications

Marketing Insights | Data Analytics

Marketing Insights or Data Analytics Managers are specialists in the field of analytics and consumer insights with a focus on analyzing market research to collect, deploy and interpret information that allows businesses and brands to grow, develop and retain their customer base. They are focused on analyzing marketing data that pertains to campaigns.  Additionally they work with web analysts to analyze website traffic and customer engagement and the effectiveness of their marketing efforts and strategies to understand the industry trends.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in  marketing, advertising, or communications
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills and proficient in statistics
  • Experience with a variety of marketing channels including paid, retail, SEM, content, social and field marketing
  • Experience with a variety of Analytics software such as Google analytics, Hubspot, Marketo
  • Strong presentation skills (storyboarding, development and delivery)

Marketing Directors

Marketing Directors oversee a marketing department and are responsible for strategizing and ensuring that marketing projects are completed on time and correctly. They will develop and implement marketing plans, strategies and direct marketing efforts. Marketing Directors will spend their time with tasks such as monitoring costs and budgets and working with new business development teams and sales teams on brand initiatives.

Requirements for Marketing Directors can include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or relevant work experience
  • Strong background in marketing campaign experience
  • Experience with digital marketing in areas like social media and content
  • Leadership experience working and managing a team and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

Marketing Managers

Marketing Managers plan and manage marketing projects under a marketing director. They do market research for products and services and look for innovative and creative ways to reach intended audiences. They help develop the strategies for marketing that are in sync with a company or brand’s objective. Marketing Managers have responsibility for brand management and corporate identity, analyzing campaigns and setting the tone for the execution of campaigns. Oftentimes they will also find themselves analyzing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.

The requirements for Marketing Managers are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant/equivalent work experience
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation programs like HubSpot, Ontraport, Autopilot, Marketo
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS and  Adobe Creative Suite
