Job Description:

Artisan Creative seeks a PR/Marketing Consultant to join our legacy non-profit client. This will be a hybrid role based out of Downtown Los Angeles for a 3-week project with the possibility of an extension. Only local LA-based candidates will be accepted at this time. 

About You: 

  • You like to circulate information about programs, events, and policy efforts
  • You enjoy copywriting and have the ability to craft content for multiple channels 
  • You love to support executive teams’ media needs 

In this role, you will: 

  • Pitch, organize, and create press marketing materials
  • Identify opportunities for media leads, statements, and written content.
  • Prepare spokespeople for media interviews and help craft speeches, press releases, and op-eds 
  • Handle complex and varied topics with the press

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
  • Experience working in public policy communications within governmental or corporate communications
  • Must be skilled in AP Style Qualifications
  • Experience using Cision
  • Existing relationships with the press and ability to manage a wide variety of partners.
