This Director of Strategy and Planning (Experiential Marketing) opportunity is full-time and will be hybrid twice weekly in Los Angeles, CA, or San Francisco, CA. We seek only Los Angeles, CA, or San Francisco, CA, residents for this opportunity.

Your Expertise:

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in strategy, experiential marketing, planning, marketing, digital strategy, or advertising strategy
  • Exhibit adaptability and versatility, seamlessly navigating various tasks positively and proactively.
  • Demonstrate a results-driven mindset, combining strategic thinking with innovation while achieving measurable success.
  • Showcase adeptness in building relationships and collaborating within a creative team, emphasizing strong communication skills, empathy, and respect for diverse backgrounds.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Foster strong relationships with in-agency and client stakeholders, actively collaborating on strategy implementation for experiential marketing solutions.
  • Drive the creative process, leading ideation sessions and providing clear insights into audience, program requirements, and success metrics.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and design comprehensive, audience-centric strategies encompassing physical, digital, social, and mobile channels.
  • Actively explore innovative experience strategies, technology-enabled engagements, and industry best practices.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients and internal teams, fortifying new recommendations and collaborating on research and planning activities.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy + Planning team to leverage best practices and insights for developing and implementing measurement and analytics frameworks.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a similar field is preferred.

    • Must have 7-10 years of experience working in marketing, experiential marketing, digital or advertising strategy

    • You must have a portfolio demonstrating your strategy and planning.

    • Must be hands-on and willing to help the team execute.

    • A nimble and efficient researcher with a knack for identifying and applying information

    • Data-savvy, capable of analyzing, comparing, selecting, and organizing data for strategic purposes

    • Skillful at identifying interrelationships between data, information, and insights

    • Proven planner with the ability to create and manage phased plans

    • A compelling storyteller, adept at tailoring succinct narrative arcs

    • Able to apply strategic expertise to create a clear path aligning stakeholders and audiences with marketing and business objectives

    • Proficient in GSuite Tools and other digital communication technologies

    • You must be willing to travel and work hybrid in the Los Angeles, CA, or San Francisco, CA office.
