Job Description:

Artisan Creative is hiring a director of digital experience to join our mid-sized banking client. This is an opportunity for someone to have a direct impact on a growing business by innovating and building new products and services with the aim of new and existing members using the bank’s digital services. You will have digital fluency and strong project management skills within an Agile environment with the ability to work closely with IT departments and developers. This is a newly created position and a chance to build a new department from the ground up. Familiarity with banking principles such as ticketing is required.

As the director of digital experience, you will have direct oversight on member-facing digital services such as online banking, mobile banking, and Bill Pay. You will take the lead with online and mobile memberships and add on new products and services for existing members. You will work in conjunction with other leaders across marketing, sales, and financial services to define digital objectives and strategy.

A large portion of your role will be dedicated to delivering digital products and services. To do this you will understand member needs, scope efforts across design, data collection and data analysis and look to innovate and improve processes. You will also focus on member adoption of digital services and benchmark across industry research relating to digital products and integrate an Agile/Scrum methodology into the new department.

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in digital banking application management and/or development.
Must possess an understanding of digital enterprise design approaches.
A practiced knowledge and understanding of Lean, Agile software development methods and practices is desired.
Understanding of bank processes, products and relevant technologies.
Strong experience working with web development tools (JavaScript, Drupal, and HTML).
Extensive project management methodology background including cost, schedule, scope, risk and change management experience.
A demonstrable track record of successfully managing a department including P/L experience.
Education: Bachelor of Science degree In Computer Science; or Bachelor of Commerce in, Marketing, Finance or similar.
