In this role, you’ll set the design vision, tone, and standards as the brand looks to optimize current omni-channel experiences while also looking 3-5 years out at transformational efforts. You’ll lead a cross-functional design team that oversees the customer experience across all of the digital product and retail touch points. You’ll partner with product and technology leaders to ensure the timely and superior execution of initiatives. Above all, you’ll unite and inspire designers, create world-class work, and create digital products that positively improve the experience customers have with the brand.

The makings of the ideal candidate is three-fold. First, you are a strong leader that unites your team with the ability to help everyone level up to their full potential. Secondly, your design vision is top notch and you have the ability to transform a traditional corporate enterprise company to the caliber of the leading tech brands on the market. Lastly, you not only understand digital product design, but you’ve been a part of building world class products from ideation to full launch. This position is heavily involved with digital product design and CX; candidates must come from a product design with samples and case studios of previous work to share.

This is a full time onsite role located in Kansas City, MO. Healthy relocation package is waiting for the right individual who can commit to this move. 

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in digital product design
  • At least 5 years of experience leading a diverse team of designers (UI, UX, Product), producers, marketers, and other creatives
  • High Visual Design standards along with the ability to create a seamless customer experience throughout various customer journeys
  • Depth of knowledge and demonstrated work samples around UX, interaction, responsive, digital products and mobile design while understanding the enabling technology
  • Portfolio showcasing previous work
  • Previous experience working with leading tech companies highly preferred
