Job Description:

Are you a communications manager with a knack for PR? Artisan Creative is hiring a freelance communications manager for a well-established national non-profit organization based in Los Angeles.

In this role, you will be responsible for writing and pitching press releases and developing content for the client’s newsletters and publications. In order to excel in this role, you must have exceptional writing and pitching skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all public relations activities
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests
  • Create content for press releases, byline articles, and keynote presentations
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an on-going basis

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a communications and/or PR position

  • Previous experience executing national campaigns

  • Experience with email marketing software such as MailChimp etc.

  • Bachelor’s degree
