Can you look at an empty warehouse and visualize all the possibilities of how to create a fun social space that is not only functional but uniquely ties in the elements that make that city great?
Can you do that over and over for facilities across America, injecting a new theme and feel to each space? They own and operate sports facilities across America that bring thrill-seeking people together. Community building is a large part of their mission, as apparent in how their facilities are designed and how they give back. They are looking for a brand director coming from a design background who can help them spearhead this new era of growth within the company.
In this role, you will lead the creative team with a focus on creating branded environments within new facilities as well as experiential marketing activations that will ultimately drive member growth and retention for the company. You will shape the vision and strategy that will bring the brand to life, delivering this experience through all aspects of the organization by partnering with marketing, retail directors, and cross-functional groups to align on brand expression and creative strategy.
The ideal candidate comes from a strong environmental design background and has created branded environments that are unique from one to the next, tying in elements from each city. They have been the one leading the charge on vision and creating strategies that consider multi-channel platforms with the intent to drive member growth and retention. They are a designer at heart with the leadership experience to oversee, inspire, and foster a thriving, inspirational and creative environment. Above all, they understand the importance of a community to an area and get excited about the thought of creating spaces that bring people together. This is a brand director coming from a design background, not marketing.
- 10 years of experience designing branded environments for the active, retail, and lifestyle space
- 5 years of experience leading a team of creatives
- Design background with strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and other 3D modeling programs
- Must have a recent portfolio with samples of spaces you have designed and built previously
- This position would ideally be located near Denver, CO, however for the right individual, is open to remote candidates across America.
