Melinda Geniza

Account Manager

A Jill of all Trades, Melinda is both business minded and a creative at heart.  Upon graduating from UC, San Diego in Visual Arts and Communications, she moved to LA in 2003 to work in the wacky world of entertainment. After working in post-production for a few years and rubbing elbows with celebs and the directors and producers they answer to, Melinda got the itch to pursue the business behind entertainment.  This brought her to Mattel to take on the challenge of developing children's entertainment around well-known brands like Barbie and Hot Wheels.

While working at Mattel and pursuing her MBA at Pepperdine, Melinda was inspired by her career counselor to give back to students and share her experiences. She made the move to work in higher education at the Art Institute of California Hollywood, where she advised college students and also taught classes in design research and marketing. Her passion for networking and business development brought her to Artisan Creative.  Here, as an Account Manager, Melinda enjoys nurturing relationships with a variety of businesses and bringing clients and talent together to make magic happen.

Outside of work, Melinda enjoys escaping from LA to visit her big crazy family in San Diego. Go Chargers! She enjoys being active too - bootcamp, snowboarding, dancing, volleyball, and softball are just a few of her favorite things. When she's not working up a sweat, Melinda goes on food adventures with her friends, and can also be found experimenting in the kitchen and creating top-secret cookie recipes.
