Laura Burns

Laura Burns brings a diverse background in the marketing and creative industry.  An MBA Graduate from the University of Colorado, she also possesses a degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and a B.A. from The George Washington University in DC.  Her prior career involved Fashion Consulting, Marketing in Print Advertising and Event Management.  She has been in the creative recruitment space in LA for almost 6 years after relocating from NY, where she was born and raised.  Laura joined Artisan in June of 2009.

Laura has an eye for creative detail.  She is passionate about her work within an industry that marries her past career experiences to her present endeavors.  She thrives on relationship building and networking.

Laura is inspired by art, fashion, music, and film--all things creative.  Living at the beach with her husband and their Pug, she enjoys the outdoors, the ocean and, of course, the weather.  When she is not trying to make that “right match,” she is at the beach, spinning, hiking or cooking Cajun and Italian cuisine with her husband.
