Case Study: JBL Pro Audio
Project Title: Project Category: Recognizing a market need for small, powerful public address systems, JBL Audio set out to fill the void. We became the strategic and creative partner for the launch of their JBL E-System, a soup to nuts project requiring branding, logo and logotype design, package design, photography, in-store POS and a full blown ad campaign. The E-System was designed for an intuitive multi-component compatibility between three of JBL's best-known products and overall ease of use. We took particular care to make sure those qualities were integrated into all aspects of the project, an approach which helped to reinforce the overall concept. Clean, engaging design was combined with photography and illustration to emphasize compatibility between the components. The copy spoke informatively, but nontechnically. And to attract interest from across a showroom floor, the packaging was crafted with an alluring simplicity. All worked together to communicate a total package value without overwhelming prospective consumers technical information. JBL Audio reports the product is selling extremely well and represents one of their best launches to date. The package found an audience.
