Job Description:

A fast-growing beverage company is looking for a director of editorial content. This position will oversee content strategy and build out a robust community of storytellers and creators while working with two direct reports and reporting directly to the CEO. 

As director of editorial content, you will be responsible for building out a new brand offering and coming up with compelling content creation and engagement strategies across paid and owned channels. You’ll need to be great at connecting content, social and digital efforts to holistically align with the company values and business goals.

A strong background in editorial would be beneficial to this position as you’ll be involved with videos, editorial content, long-form articles, photos, podcasts and speaking engagements. On a daily basis you’ll write content to elevate the brand and build scalable content marketing engine that drives followers, brand awareness and a sense of community with the company’s customers all while managing two direct reports and a team of freelancers.

8+ years in content or editorial positions within global/national brands or agencies
Strong background in social, digital and editorial
Strong leadership skills and experience in leading teams
Passion for healthy lifestyles, wellness and nutrition and ability to create content to enable customers to make healthy choices
Experience with working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
