Job Description:

We are looking for a User Experience Designer to design for a well known automobile manufacturer in the US.  This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a smart and passionate User Experience Designer to join their growing team.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have strong creative and leadership qualities, take ownership of projects and work with a dedicated team of design professionals to shape and transform great ideas into inspiring and engaging automotive experiences.

Must be able to work independently and remotely with proven efficiency

Skills Required - User Experience, Interactive Design, Graphic Design, Information Systems Architecture, Wireframes, User Interface, Usability Principals, Workflows, Prototypes, And Mobile Applications.

What you need for this position:
  • 2+ years' experience in Web / Interactive design with strong understanding of IA and Usability principals 
  • 2+ years' / fluent with Adobe CS Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Flash
  • Available portfolio demonstrating visually compelling and smart Web or UI design work
  • Excellent verbal and written skills; strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills
  • Team player with a willingness to learn, grow and adapt
What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborating with project team members to conceptualize and prototype IA deliverables and UX designs
  • Providing assistance to identify and define automotive user personas, key tasks, end user goals and user scenarios
  • Developing system architecture, wireframes and workflows to communicate structure and functionality
  • Designing and prototyping UX visual composites for client presentations
  • Providing proposals to creative directors and development teams to ensure creative quality and implementation
Pluses for the position:
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Experience designing for mobile Web and / or mobile applications
  • Marketing / PR, creative or digital agency experience
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Human Centered Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Digital Media or related field
