Description:

Artisan Creative is looking for an Account Manager/Recruiter to focus on selling Artisan’s creative staffing, recruitment and project services in the Bay Area. We have been servicing the creative needs of our clients and talent for over 20 years and are looking to add an individual to our team who is a self-starter, an entrepreneur—someone who can manage both (Sales & Recruiting) sides of their desk and can bring in the business, recruit the talent and make the placement. 

This is a role that requires strong initiative and self-direction, and is a mix of strategic selling, lead generation, cold-calling, recruiting, networking and developing new business.  Experience in the Creative field is a MUST for this position—Ideally selling staffing or project solutions within Interactive, consumer brands, corporate marketing or Creative Services.

Sell Artisan’s Staffing, Recruitment and Project Services in the Bay Area
Develop new business and establish a healthy pipeline of short-and long-term prospects
Expand existing accounts to generate new billings
Recruit new talent to generate new placements
Execute strategies to penetrate new verticals and expand existing ones
Develop and manage relationships with both talent and hiring authorities
Provide exceptional customer service
Attend networking events and tradeshows
Attend regularly scheduled internal meetings--in person and virtual

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will:
Have 3-5 years previous sales experience within the creative industry. Creative experience is a MUST.  Ideal experience is selling staffing or project solutions within Interactive, consumer brands, corporate marketing or Creative Services. 
Have an existing book of business and contacts within the industry
Exhibit past success in selling and growing accounts and achieving sales goals
Understand and thrive on working in a commission-driven environment
Be goal-oriented with a focus on productivity and an eye on profit margins
Be a good negotiator & mediator
Be a confident and determined closer
Have strong problem solving skills—be strategic and consultative
Have strong cold calling and lead generation skills
Be a consistent self-learner
Be computer savvy and familiar with CRM systems
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be a team player
Be well versed in all aspects on networking--both traditional and social media. 

Position is virtual and candidate will work from home, however must be in the Bay Area for daily client and/or talent meetings.
