Mattel wanted an original look for the packaging of a new Barbie line. It needed to be contemporary, yet retain the essence of her new roles’ characters: Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. Time was an issue because a product release date was looming.

To give the packaging a visual dynamism and immediate shelf presence, our designer created a fun, stylish and engaging cartoon-based look which proved captivating to children. Moreover, its inventive quality enabled the Barbie princess characters to engage in contemporary activities, thereby increasing the appeal and relevance to the audience. We went from a plain white structure to presentation grade mock-ups of the new package design in a few short weeks, all of which was delivered with finished artwork to rave reviews by the clients, and the satisfaction of their customers.
