Case Study: Caesar’s Palace, Lake Tahoe

Caesar’s Palace, Lake Tahoe

Project Title:
Interactive CD-Rom

Project Category:
Collateral, Packaging

The business model for a profitable casino is not just flipping cards and ringing slot machines, so when the convention sales department of Caesar’s Tahoe

needed an effective way to showcase their facilities to convention organizers, we were able to help.

A high-impact interactive CD-ROM proved to be the solution. Convention organizers require large amounts of information about a site’s facilities (meeting rooms, lodging, restaurant and activities). The client needed new assets to be produced to be used in conjunction with their existing video and stock photography.

Our solution was turn-key. Artisan wrote the audio script and music scores, designed the user interface, took 360 degree surround photographs of all key facilities, and designed the cover and face of the CD-ROM. Then we pulled it all together into a very handy little package by sourcing CD duplication, printing and delivery to Caesar’s offices.

Caesar’s clients are now able to easily see all facilities the resort has to offer. They can also research areas of particular interest without having to sit through a long video or pour through gargantuan brochures. The CD-rom links into Caesar’s website to update promotions and casino news. This CD-rom project won Artisan’s 4th Summit Creative Award and proved to be a very effective sales tool for Caesars Tahoe.
